Nice set up. I like the driftwood roots you have. Beautiful fish as well.

No problem, its a case of function over form, I wanted as much swimming space as possible for the aro and ornate. I kinda agree with you, I have other tanks that are more aquascaped, I'll post pics of my SA themed 40g in a few weeks once its had a make over when the wood has finished curing. So unless by boring you mean it lacks bubbling pirate ships and scuba divers....

Not a chance now! Here's a more recent pic, its a little blurry and you can't really see the ornate, but you can see how big the aro is compared to the wood. He's pushing 10" now at a rough guess, and is getting thick, so the ornate wouldn't have a chance of getting hold of him let alone swallowing him.
