well im furious that i was charged 17$ for 5 "alright" sized feeders, these guys will get all eaten up by this bass today, so i cant afford 17$ a day, im so pissed off, my regular store wont have big feeders until they hope next tuesday they will get some. i can get about 30 big feeders from petland for 12$, bigger then the feeders i have now. im furious, i just tried feeding him shrimp but he didnt even think of going for it. how long can i not feed him for. i dont like not feeding him because seeing him beg, and the tempertantrums he throws sucks. hes a 9 1/2" mono?

Get him off of live food (at least not 100% live).
My monos will greedily gobble up Hikari pellets, krill, market shrimp, tilapia & catfish filets from the grocery store, and earth worms.
I have found my monos to be much less picky than my oscellaris pbass, so hopefully (if yours are monos too), you will have some luck weaning them off of 100% live food. Give it a shot. Just let them get hungry for a couple of days, then try the earth worms or some cut up white fish from the market.

Poor you, in Canada. Here in the US, 100 goldfish costs $10 Sometimes $8. And if they last 3 days, you are WAY OVERFEEDING.

Try to get him feeding on cut up fish fillets...starve him for a while...yeah it sucks to piss em off like that, but eventually PBass will eat what is thrown in the tank! Go catch some bluegills or something at a local lake and throw em in! I have 9 Orinos and a Smallie in my 125 and they will eat fish chunks and nightcrawlers just as quick as live feeders! Plus...It's a LOT cheaper! By the way...nice looking Mono!!!

Where the hell are you buying 100 feeders for $30 ??? they are 12cents at petco... thats 200+ for $30. BTW, at his size, you can get him on pellets if you really tried...Heres DM "tutorial"

i live in canada so its rare to see bluegill LOL...the color he is in that pic is that what hes going to be like for good? or should i expect more coloration, the bars turn into spots(from what im told they will) red gills etc....
