17$ for 5 feeders

Starvation worked for mine, took less than a week. I also have used a fishing line to make krill look like a feeder. After they strike it a few times they got the idea.

I would think you could go a week even without feeding at that size. Use DMs tuturial. It has worked for all of my pbass and some other fish as well. I am sure your local waters have some kind of fish that you could feed to your pbass if you are unable to get him off of live.

I have been feeding mine md minnows from a gas station bait store. After going in enough he hooks me up now. 30 or so for $1. They can feed my 4 pbass, 1 pike, 2 big wide bars, tsn and ornate very easily.

17 bucks for 5 feeder goldfish? That's pretty pricey.

I got mine 25 cents each, and they are alive and awesome, great deal.

My pbass only get live food as a treat. They readily accept freeze dried krill jikari pellets hikari carnivore sticks freeze dried tubifex and blood worms anything fresh I throw in like market shrimp squid smelt etc.

Yo may have to starve him a few days but survival sets in long before starvation. Also if he is alone in the tank put something else in there as competition for food. He'll get the idea real quick!

That's very true. Usually if one fish sees others, especially of the same kind, eating food, it stimulates them to eat too.

i can get like 20 feeders for a buck at my petstore
but anyways try to feed him frozen silversides, gently work him away from devilish feeders, my bass was addicted to them took him a while to get him of them

i had my old pack of 3 (2 tems and a mono) on non live less than a week after buying them and they were only like 2"s at the time

just do the dmack thing, and they WILL come around.

i think it might go faster if you do feedings every 3 or so days, and leave him hungry, that way it will make him more ready to accept shrimp or fillets.

just my 2cents.

he's a stunner of a bass, buy more smaller feeders...i only feed my tems 30 goldies a week, takes em 2 days to eat but there full for days, (i think) lol, there pigs! but yeh...start breeding cons?

Are you sure that is a 9 1/2 inch Mono??? Looks a little lacking in Maturity and pattern for even 7 inches let alone 9 1/2 ??

Training takes patience and time..
