im considering a jar eventually. been doing research on them for a long time. i own a silver, so i only see aro's as peaceful topdwellers. so its hard for me to imagine a species of aro to be able to wipe out all its tankmates. most likely this is how you are also. heres how you should look at it though:
"arowana"s are not a group of fish all their own, but much rather its just a name for a select few out of a larger group known as boney tounged fish. the word ''arowana'' is really just added to boney tounged fish around the world that look similar, but they arent the same. arowanas are closey related to several species of fish such as arapimia, african butterflies, and elephant noses (i think). so in other words, some "arowana"s may be calm like african butterflies, or natural born killers like arapimia, because they are all in the same family of fish.
