Believe it or not I actually did that when I was a kid. I had an interest in anatomy so my Dad and I dug up his pet cat that died when he was a kid and put the skeleton back together with clotheshangers and glue. I took it in to show and tell.

did you get a parent/ teacher conference out of that? Stuffing one of my pets is on my list (just not sure which one)

Here's the pics. Pics of tanks on a later date.
Now THAT-is art!!!!

hmmmm.....didnt show pic of skeleton.........well thats what i meant anyway.

Thanks guys. While the weather is crappy I've been pushing to get some skeletons finished. I feel horrible about how long it has taken me, but I'm very meticulous in everything that I set out to do. From this tank to my artwork, to the skeletons that I do for people. A little bit ocd, but not when it comes to cleaning, just the things I love to do. lol Anyway this weekend I hope to get a lil more done on the tank, and will get some pics up. I just have to borrow a cord again lol. There are more pics though.

LOL, it is so funny when you say, tank. This ain't a tank, this a ocean.

Ocean? I was thinking it would make a good betta tank! What do you think? According to a guy I talked to on PC I need roughly 1000 gals per inch of fish. lol, jk, but honestly my little ocean is being built for the big boys. If I do add smaller fish, they will more than likely be rescues, and I doubt they'll last, but if they do then I'm game for them!:D

Yup. Rescues. Judging by the size of some of your fish, a fully grown oscar wouldn't last in there! Pacu and ID sharks maybe.

I'm actually contemplating on doing a tank just for rescued cichlids as I get offers weekly.I currently have 4 oscars living with my biggest catfish. He ate the smaller 5th one that I had, but he's never been game on eating anything very large. He doesn't even like shrimp if they are bigger than what I've been feeding him all along.

Thats a good catfish. You don't want your largest to be a massive predator, or some of your other cats might need to go.

Have not checked the thread in ages. It is good to see some progress ^^

PS: it is a horrible feeling when tankmates eat each other ... though i suppose in your case a 28" RTC's behavior is not unexpected ...hehehehe my remaining marble pim is hanging on and growing - perhaps he will live with RTCs after all (though RTC could decided to eat him anytime 80cm vs 40cm...)
