The convicts already breed; so far no fry has lasted longer than 3 weeks. Lately none have lasted longer then 3-4 days after free swimming. I have one male con and he has a girl on each end of the tank. Fresh snacks for everyone. The cutteri don't leave each other alone so that keeps them from breeding.

Here's the stock:
2 Black convicts (f) - the large one was given to me as feeder, she survived with my flowerhorn for a week or more when I noticed her colors and yanked her, that was about a year ago. The other is her daughter.
2 White convicts (m/f) - orginial pair came from a friend, pretty sure he got them at the LFS. I bred these for a year or so as feeders, this is my last pair and the male recently dumped her for the large black convict. The last 20 or so pure white fry went to friend last weekend.
2 EBJD (?) one is the white varity (not pictured). Blue from rapps via a friend, White from fishfarm
5 Cutteri (3m,1f,1?) F1 parents from FishFarm
2 Centrarchus F1 (m/f) (local breeder)
2 Nanoluetus F1(m/f) (local breeder)
1 Green Terror (m)
1 P. Crabro (m)
1 Rainbow cichlid (f) fishfarm
1 Firemouth (?)
2 Oblongum (?) (local breeder)

Waiting to see if a group buy, from Rapps, at the cichlid club goes through this week or next as I have my eye on 2 other fish, then the stock will be done.

no full tank shots right now. The plants still need to fill out so it looks awkward. I want to put more branches near the top as well.

I added a female sajica and 2 t.passionis in Dec but haven't managed to get any good pic's of them. The female Nanoluetus died last month. I don't know what happened. Her body and fins weren't torn up at all and she was acting fine the day before.
