I plan on getting them all at the same time as juveniles, and they will be put in the 180 at that time.

Keep in mind I would like a biotope. Geos are SA, and Argentea are endemic to Mexico. But with that aside, those would work great probably, and are great looking but not what I am looking for, Thanks
Lol, whoops. :nilly: But I would still take out the blackbelt. I think it would be too . . . brutish? for the jag to handle just because it will most likely have a heavier body. Unless you get a rather docile one.

"To make your chances better on keeping sajicas with a jag, is that you could go for a female......smaller fish and less aggressive."

i disagree with you in the fact that females are less aggressive then males. if a female laid eggs with or without a male in the tank your fish will go through hell. if giving the right conditions a female jag will lay eggs by her self and most likely do it every 3-5 weeks. just something to think about.

I had they same thought, once a female drops a clutch I would think she would guard them fertilized or not. Would anyone else agree or disagree?

Its not hard to stop that, all you have to do is scrape the eggs off, the fish will eat them and the female will stop protecting them.

Hello man., i feel happy because many pepople want to have natural fish in their tanks from my country I am from Costa Rica, we have a lot of species, but take a look this example this is our web page in CR, this partner made a big 300 GLS tank only with Costarrican fish the name of this project is TICOPEZ and it is in spanish.
