you can have more then 2 or 3.it just depends what you want if you want the big boys then less is better imo.i like to be able to sit back for hours and watch my GT or Jag interact and to be able to swim along the entire tank without having to duck and dive around to many fish and the GT is 9" and the Jag is 6" and growing fast.

So the only problem i might have is aggresion? It's not like they can't swim confortably?
Well I'll just have to see what happens then cause right now they're about 4-5 inch.

Yep, Id only worry about the aggression. If you could get 6 large fish (12+") that all get along? They would work in a 180. Don't forget the water changes but you already stated you're good there.

Get rid of the Gibbi and only keep one of each type of cichlid and you should be fine.
