put it this way your new 180 if you got it would last less than a year.an arowana is way to big for a 180.you will just hurt the poor fish.most likely the tank is only about 20"-22" wide.an aro would really have to bend.maybe you should sell your aro cats and just get some lil pbass and have a couple in it.aro's get big.im thinking about a 210 here soon in a bout a month and dont know if putting an aro in that is a good idea.it is cruel.save up longer.

look at Delgado he has a 2 ft arowana in his 180.... aros dont take up the whole width of a tank to turn around either...

POND

Well put. Get rid of all the tanks and use that space to build a pond. You could build a really decent size pond with $400.

not to be mean but i think delago is a better fish keeper than you.his aro is still growing too.knowing delago he is gonna get another bigger and better tank soon.he is older and has more cash and can support his fish keepering hobby.and yes an aro will really have to bend in a 180 to turn around ,should have done your research.

Zoo York,
To be honest, I wouldn't even put a RTC or TSN in my 750g. These fish will eventually get massive 4 ft + if given the chance. I understand the appeal of these fish (amazing fish!) but they are not good canidates for the size tank you're talking about. A 180g is however a nice size for large CA cichlids (fish that max ~12-18"). Good luck to you on your endeavors.
