ha yah it is...I remember when I had mine.

what other fish are you planning on adding? A miniatus grouper would be pretty sweet...

The miniatus is a beautiful fish. But, no groupers for me at present. I'm thinking emperor angel, yellow tangs (3), blue hippo, powder brown or blue and huma.

Someone also suggested blue face angel but I'm not that familiar with it. It's a beauty and I believe it's a smaller fish than the emperor. So, I'm tossing that idea around also.

my fav larger angel is either a gree/queen or the blue ring.. the blue rings are supposedly really hardy..

I don't like the set up at all. In fact it's probably the ugliest display tank for saltwater I've ever seen. To me it looks very unnatural and cheap looking. Some of the pieces (the tree stump) look like you got from Petsmart for $20.00. I don't see a lot of tree stumps in the ocean. But it doesn't matter what I think. It's your tank and if it looks good to you, that's all that matters.

next time let him know how you really feel. this tank isnt my cup of tea either but to each his own

The only issue I see is that with decorations that are really meant for freshwater tanks like the tree stump, is that the SW will start to break down any coating thus any chemicals will be released into the tank.
Not necessarily a good thing.

Just a bit of info if you did not already know.

The tree stump isn't going to break down (since you obviously didn't know) it's no different than the Reef Forms coral in the tank. Once it's covered with algae it will look no different than any other rock covered in algae. It's big and hollow and my new blue face angel loves swimming through it.

The price of the decor is hardly an issue. Once it's covered with algae it won't matter if it cost $20 or $200. I find the vast majority of fowlr tanks ugly and unoriginal. WOW, a rock wall in the middle of a fish tank oooooo, aaaahhhhh. It's only been done a bazillion times.

I'm going to keep the pipe organ and blue ridge corals cleaned and algae free. I'm going to add a FEW pieces of live rock to the display tank and let the other decor become covered in whatever grows on it. This wasn't my original plan but that's the direction I'm heading in now. As the fish grow I'm going to open up the middle for swimming room. Absolutely no rock walls!
