Good question I was wondering the same exact thing! sounds like two very good options to me,

does anyone have pic of a filter for a 200g tank

Use www.Google.com , search for "Eheim 2250", Eheim 2260", "FX5", etc ... Then click on the "Images" link on top of the page. That will provide you with pictures from every angle, plus links to respective sites.

I have had all sorts of filter on the 2 6 foots I had running in my fish room like snakehead filters can be controversial causing all sorts of arguments. I have found this is my personal opinion but it is from trying various filter (taking into account my mate owns a shop and I get to try most things that reps bring in) Ehime filters are good they don’t leak and they are quite and do the job but in the last few month’s I have been converted if you can suffer loosing a bit of space off the side of the tank put the sump on the side. Its cheap and works a treat. All it will cost is the price of a power head and some glass and some plastic. And this way the heater is out off the way to. It’s not every ones cup of tea (as we say in the UK) but I am feeling the sump revolution taking over.

The sump is the easiest system to maintain I have ever found. You can also put anything you desire there. Very nice to be able to put all your equipment out of sight and reach of those big fish that destroy everything.

FX5 is rated for up to 400 Gallon tanks !! I use it on a 220 gallon...perfect conditions best I have ever seen

I am currently running an Eheim 2080 (=Pro3) on my 220 gal, it's rated for tanks up to 315 gal. No problems, just add some extra filter floss.

Is this the only filter you guys are using on tanks that big? Or do you also have some hang on the backs too?
