upside down cats are from the synodontis family. if yours is a Columbian cat, then it is not from that family. I believe he saw your cat and may of thought it was a synodontis since many ACs are kept with them...

I went to PA for a job and across the way was a construction zone were they were blasting out the ground for basements of these new homes.
One thing lead to another i went to see, I talked with some people and then found my self down the street were the Rocks removed were left in a Mound 4X the size of my house. Crazy shapes and all sizes-
I worked a deal out, and left with a car load for my ReScaping Project taking place, now, tomorrow.
Cich to be so excited over rocks but cool part is I wil be there Monday to thurs this week and I wil be going with a truck....I need rock for my Pond this summer...

On 1/18 as mentioned I found this Rock Gold Mine. Absolutly Crazy cool Rock- Alot of different shapes and sizes and best part is i didnt have to Pay $3-$5 a pound.

Altho I have to admite I got early am. washed the rocks off and started to just Scape. I could of and should really plained it out But I sometimes like to just feel it out-Of Course nuthing is permit so if I change some things later, No biggy and if you guys see anything-please let me know.
So this is the Nasty Before, Throw togther what ever I had left over type of AquaScape.
Tear it down and "GET IT OUT", No I didnt drop the water bare, wish I could believe me. But intill Sping when I build PlyWood holding Tanks out side ( for the Kio). I dont hav enough space or rubber maids for all the cichlids. SO I got to Scape in the water and try not to stir it up to much so I van Kinda see...
Now around the Overflows I have slate on the bottom with a verythinn styro under that. I left that because i intended to keep the cave over to the sides. ANd they like to dig to the glass- I dont like them doingthat- so this way they happy cause they got the bottom Im happy cause the didnt get to the glass. LOL
Filters are off and will be off for a couple hours So this is one ofthe times you inject 02 ( thanks granpa who pasted a year ago but I have all his med equipment at the house. granma didnt want to thro out)
We got Rock in there. So I laid it out generly useing the 2 massive pieces that dont look massive in the tank....HUMMM The tank must be bigger, LOL
While the dust settles Ill clean the filters and Do my water cahnges. Out of the SOT I took out maybe 30g tops. But Lets play with the Sub tank...HEHEHEHEHE
So I went threw all the Plants- And alot of the old nana I was going to Tub...but I saw they had alot of new growth/ altho they had looked pretty much far gone the new growth is great- So ill put it back in the tank and see what happens, out of the rest i either put the simi decent plants in my other tank- or threw out, I did keep all the Java fern and some java moss- just grouped it together.

Kick on the Filter....note the net- helps screen.

If so, LOLOLOLOL ( evil grin fallowed by laugh) wait till i get my FX5-It will be shipping Tues. I been working on a new piping system. for the SOT, I was going to a DIY Thread. ill make you a Bmp of what Im thinking off, but right now NO.
But it will be and more. So Ill post my ideal for you and you can give me your thoughts.
i was also of taking the root looking branches out - 2much rock and its not working- I want to get more plants, but with out the plants it looks to bare...
