180gMalawi Tank

Ok everyone. the Hard Scape is final and done. I redid alot of the Rock work today-Adding new peices but mainly re organizing how it was laid out- actuall made it jamed with caves and hidding spots...(Ill never catch a fish in this tank again)...

So Im excited because now its planting time...HurraH

I push the rock back and built High with it giving ( attempting a more level look with multiple leves to grow form.) also I tried to get the path way in the center to look further out I think with the plants it will achieve that well.
Yeah i kept the branches in- Iam determine to make the secne work-and I think with the plants and the growth on the branches a shore line will be created with an under water canyon. effect.
But building high allow more room to plant and made it look for steaper..

What cha guys think?

I like the look of the new scape .I always try to make overhangs like that for the fish to hangout under.Hopefully your plants will not be uprooted by your fish. I am still deciding on if I will go the live plant route probobly not due to my fish like to play a game of lets see if we can pull the plants up out of the gravel . I have most of them under the rocks due to this.

Its really the Mbuna's that you got to worrie about-or atleast for me- And they do attempt to eatplants- but more so with some then others. They dont touch the Ferns at all or the moss- the Nana's they go after any of the older leaves expecaily if the start to die...kinda help me trim the plants sort of speak- the digging i found if they got caves and you keep the plants out the way of the cave they dont dig them...

So they do actually pretty well. i will say- swords...OMG they will tear it apart and it a 12" sword in an hour...LOL

so we learn what to and not to put in there...lol

As an Update.2/2

I took these pictures the day I removed the FM's out the SOT. So please excuse them for the time being, But besides some cool shots I got and as always Tank shots. I have news on the Spwaning front. Just like Oct ( I had 10spwans acure in 6weeks) I now have 4Females again Holding...Crazy thing is they keep doing it like this to me-ALL AT ONCE-

Altho actually better due to tank space.
So I have a couple shots of the Fry 2-10spawns and the new momma's to be (again).

I also have a couple solo fish shots.

Fry2-7 They Have all gotten so big so fast, Note:all 5spawns (Mbuna's and Peacocks) are in this tank they are no more then a week of age with each other.

wow, what type of fish is the one that starts out white at the mouth and has brilliant shades of red, orange and yello, ect. that is really really pretty!
