here in socal these fish are a dime a dozen unfortunately. i see this all the time. he can go in my 800gl pond until i can get an aquarium to take him, but theres no way on earth i'll pay 250

i have to agree with everyone on this one. 250 is pretty steep. you could maybe get 75 for it if you're lucky. Ive seen them go for 150 at this size though so dont get your hopes down.

Agreed. I have a two-foot RTC that I've been trying unsuccessfully to GIVE away.

Maybe you could find a giant Aquarium place nearby to give it to? The Seaquarium down in Miami has an area reserved for Freshwater fish. He'll get a huge tank to live in AND good care by professionals.
