Thankyou... he is young and strong... we expect a full long life... we caught it early and looks like we got it all before any spreading.

Sorry for the delays in the build... that life thing....
To all the puppy is doing amazing. Surgeon said the cancer had not spread past knee, and he was correct. It is now 7 months since the surgery and the boy is doing great.

Back to the tank... I have installed support for the front, that is 4 inch x 3/8" structural steel.. I could lift my truck with it... should hold back the water as long as my welds are good.

Also added in overflow support... back 2 feet of the tank will have the overflow above it. Added an angle iron ring to give the uprights some rigidity.
Might be overkill... but the steel is free, so only cost is labor and weld rod.

Thanks for sharing the progress, looking great! Excited to see the build getting closer.

I think I am ok without additional bottom supports on the overflow... it will only be holding 2 220 gallons. It will be sitting on 3 inch channel steel. The frame is lightweight angle iron but it will be welded to the 3 inch channel... what do u guys think? Add cross Braces on the bottom? Or just weld it to the 3 in h channel?

Seems like the 3in channel should be enough but some flat bar/strap for bracing wouldn't hurt since bowing is the main concern. You welding everything with the steel in place or removing so you can also apply epoxy?
