Weld in place remove apply epoxy reinstall the steel.
So the bottom frame will be welded to the 3 inch channel... the 3 inch channel has 5 crossbracea already. bowing on the 3 inch channel should not be an issue ... I hope ... I have room in the 3 inch channel ... I could weld in some angle cross Braces on the bottom frame. Once the overflow is coated and mounted I'll share some pics...

Oh you're right, I missed those angles inside the channel so yeah I don't think you'd need any extra braces then.

Different topic - how'd you get all your 1 inch acrylic for the viewing windows? I've been on craigslist and facebook marketplace like a hawk but never see anything pop up like that. A couple 'bulletproof glass' folks that want a thousand bucks for 2x2 ft square lol.

I live in Arkansas and they have several locations here. Had the sheets dropped at my company dock. No shipping charge as I am local.
Don't quote me but if memory serves I got 2 4x4x1 and 2 4x3x3/4 for $1500.
