Wow... sucks to see.

How is this the background packaged? Is there any kind of protection, like bubble wrap or popcorn in the box to fill in the empty spaces. Or is just backround in the shipping box?
It comes wrapped in bubble wrap and has packaging paper to fill in the box. This time they even put empty cardboard boxes to fill in some of the larger voids. I meant to take pictures of the box that it came in as well to show how beat up it is.

Since it is professionally package it may just happen again and again and again if a new one sent =-(

Probably just need to go ahead and fix yourself. I just feel that UPS has to pay for this some how since it's obvious it's the way they handled the package. If the shipper filed a claim on the previous shipment was there insurance filed? Perhaps you can just get an additional discount somehow since you technically received damaged goods. Perhaps some money back? Just not sure how it works when the seller files a claim if monetary is returned. But if insurance was included I'm sure it does....

I've considered it and I'm going to move forward put this behind me and repair the BG myself. It just makes sense to fix it myself it'll end this headache and I can finally get my tank up and running...:woot:

On that note, I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas!! Enjoy every minute with your family and friends. Tomorrow is not promised to anyone...take care MFK :)

More pics of the tank's progress after the Holiday...:grinno:
