he will learn sometime!!! LOL when his ray gets eaten!!!
expensive food too
the ray will not stand a chance in the event of an attack off a RTC they are very strong fish, my RTCXTSN tries eating my arm when im doing maintenance on my tank and my arm is 3 times the size!!! and they are nort as ferocious as a RTC

It could potentually kill the RTC also.

i'd say it'll look better. but it'll make your water cloudier esp. in the first few days, not to mention that its already a bit cloudy... i suggest you put the fishes on another tank for a few days, after putting the sand and letting everything settle down first. plus make sure the sand is clean.

bout the ray man, it's too much of a risk trying to work a thing like that out... i think the rays deserve more consideration being very delicate fishes... and them cats are really brutes... it's like putting a nerd in jail=/

oh yeah forgot that the rays are poisinous that could end in a lot of dead fish!
if im right the rays excrete large amounts of ammonia into the water through their skin when they die and thats before they rot or get digested LOL

oh yh the amino thing ive read about that well ill might put him back in the little tank but that was a grow out but im sure he will be ok in there for the next 2-3 months when i get the pond on the go haha

I wouldnt put the Rectic into the pond they only reach 12" max disc for a female too delicate to go with big cats keep it seperate in a tank.

If it were a motoro or one of the larger more agressive rays it would be different
