i picked up a 180galloon tank 6x2x2 Acrylic. I have 2 ac 110 HOB filter that are still kinda new, can the ac110 filter the 180? Or should i go back to canister filter. i have a fluval 204 also. can all these filters keep my fish happy and safe? i really dont wanna risk it. let me know. thanks.

It really depends on what fish you want to stock in the 180 and how heavily stocked you keep your tanks.. as for me i have a 220 with 2 FX5's and a fluidized bed filter that's running and additional 350gph.. It's always best to overfilter IMO..

I could be possible to adiquately filter a 180g with two AC110 filters alot will depend on what the stock of the tank is.

i'd say use the 2 ac110's but add a canister filter too..the more the merrier.

thanks fellas. yeah its gonna be a predator tank.

right now i have
1 jardini
1 silver aro
2 mono pbass
1 unknown pbass
2 indo dats
more to come

thanks again.

with those kind of fish, and "more to come", I think you will definetly need more filtration.
