Milky Way Galaxy,
Hey guys ok I have my final fish am going to put in my pond since it's almost cycled. It's 2,000gallon with 1 pond filter (might get a 2nd one) with a 1,000gph pump, 1 water flow pump 2,000gph, and one Jebo UV sterilizer. I want to stalk it with 2 Alligator Gara and 2 Sibberian Sturgeon. I just have a couple questions on feeding. First off with the Gars. Since there going to be about 6inches when I put them in how will they find the food? What should I feed them? And my question on natural feeding what do they eat in the wild? I want to also have "snacks" in there for them and just in case they don't get enough from feeding. Now for the Sturgeon, what do I feed them? I know they need carbs so should I be feeding them Koi food? Am getting them when there 10inches should I also be worried about them finding food? And for natural food what do they eat in the wild? I know they eat crabs so would crayfish work? So for natural feeding am thinking about having 200 Minnows(restocked every week) and I don't know about the crabs. I might have to breed them. Any cheap live crab? Cause crayfish at the Lfs are $6 a pop. And for oxganating the water I have a waterfall coming from the filter and from the water flow pump I have ripples at the top. Thanks(:

I thought you had rtc's in it?? Gator gars would be cool I have wanted one sense I got my pond but can't find any. Where you getting yours?

you could put a few sunfish let them breed then introduce the gars so they would have some snacks

really? they're like the most common gar around here

RTC's are in my uncles pond now. What are sunfish? And do Alligator Gars eat marble crayfish? And am getting them from a buddy he has 4. Am going all out Gar pond.

Id personally grow them all out to at least a foot long before putting them outside, preferably larger. It would be rather easy to to lose track of a six inch fish in a 2000 gallon pond. At least this way you wouldn't have to worry about them not finding food.
