2 Alligator Gars, 2 Sturgeon and questions about natural feeding

love the idea. just rmember to keep it warm! and id think the gars would grow pretty fast in a pond like that with the right conditions so i wouldn't mind about not being able to see them as long as you keep the water clear and clean
 
Keep it warm? How warm we talking lol, i was reading a thread in the garr thread this guy had a alligator gar in Texas no heaters can't they take
Pretty cold water (50f+) am
In Cali so I the lowest my water temps get is about 60F

2000 gallons is not close to enough room for 1 sturgeon, let alone 2. You could get away with a Sterlet for a longer time- they only get 4 ft. There are Sturgeon pellets you can buy on online for them. They had a completely different diet than koi, so koi pellets would not be enough for them. They are also cold water fish, and do better in colder waters.

I would just go with Gars. Seems like it would be easier IMO.
