2 Questions About African and SA Cichlids

the 25 cichlids are as goes
16 yellow labs
5 socofoli cichlids
2 jewel cichlids
2 peacocks
and im not doing anything to change the water parameters i just vaccum the gravel once a week and change the carbon in the filters once every 2 weeks and feed the fish i also got the jd with them peacock eel 1 8 inch pleco and 1 2 inch and its going well its been about like 2 weeks i think with them and the water is crystal clear also got 2 tetra 30-60 filters running at full and might buy a canister filter too
and in the pic this is before i had the 2 filters in there as u can see theres a small one

true that, I think we all know what the OP meant . . . but, as noted, he did have a couple Jewel cichlids (not Rift Lake) and its not unusual to keep Kribs in groups (also not Rift Lake) . . .
 
I have seen a few relatives of mine pull it off but interactions do not always go the way we plan. I say try it and keep the 35 handy if things go south.

if things go south my cousins got a 55 gallon with a male jack dempsey same size as my female so i can alwasy give it to him
