2 Tanks , 1 Fx5 !

Deffently gone off the idea of splitting the filter onto the 2 tanks , so i am now try to think of a decent but not too expensive filter for my secend tank .

There was one other person too, I'll try to find it. The 2262 will not flow 900 GPH, not even close without the filter floss.

I never implied it would. I just wanted to know what people were actually getting... I know the number on the box does not match its just being an informed consumer

Jgray, since you’ve reduced yourself to rudeness in feeble attempts to make your argument appear to have more value, I’m done with the debate… reread my previous posts to understand my point…

I understand your point clearly. You would rather Hagen and other compies to use the scientific pump flow measurement to identify the flow capabilities of the canister filter INSTEAD of the actual tested filter flow which, yes , may vary 0-100 GPH but you will get a closer number and you will not be disapointed when you hook up a brand new Fx5 expecting 925 GPH (lets say you don't have media in it) and test it and only get 600 GPH.

Sorry but you have no leg to stand on. You are better off retracting from this debate. Because I don't have respect for people that want to lie to the consumer to make their product look better than it really is.

Also, I wouldn't say I reduced myself to rudeness. I am just being honest. Your reduced your self to a lieing sales rep that hagen, Eheim and other companies would hire just to get their product out the door.

If you read my words, I didn't lie one time. I used scientifically provable numbers as opposed to numbers that will vary greatly from application to application. In response to that you rudely called it a lie...
