2 things that irritate me.

i use a spell check sometimes before i hit reply :D
what bugs me on this site is alot of people just post a topic without looking to see if anyone else has said the same thing already.
like the croc hunter,someone would start a topic,and right below theres is the same topic with 200 replys lol.

AMEN BROTHER!!! The education standards in America “had” to be lowered because in the late 60’s and 70’s the NAACP said higher standards were racist. Inner city kids were not passing basic aptitude tests. Rather than fix the problem, testing standards were lowered for everyone. Eventually there was not much expected out of the public education system and we ended up with the mess we have today. Most American students entering the college systems do not have any writing skills. Most can not write an essay and many more can not convey their thoughts in writing. What is appalling is that international students entering America’s university system typically have better English skills than American students.

Please keep in mind that MFK is an international website with members from all over the world and of all levels of education. Naturally, language skills vary greatly. Just be happy that we all speak English - more or less. :D

Secondly, people often buy by impulse since rare fish are hard to find (thus, they're rare). Many members have the means to support just about any fish in their tanks. After all, we are MonsterFishKeepers. The genus or family of a fish (and thus general care requirements) is evident by phenotype i.e. at the time of purchase. Double-checking on this site which exact species it is means no harm. But I agree that people with limited aquarium resources should research well before they buy.

Last but not least, I want to add a point to the list of things that irritate: What really irritates me are people who post in the wrong forum ;) This is the "General Aquaria Discussion Forum for General FISH RELATED Discussions". Let me move your rant to the lounge for you ;)

Not to add fuel to the fire but it seems like americans are the ones most guilty of committing the really atrocious spelling and grammar mistakes.

I noticed how some words were just typed as they sounded or how they are pronounced. It used to bother me before, but i just squint my eyes and read through it. Im immune now , i think. But i understand the frustration.
 
As long as its not that crude, and they're not Americans or Any other nationality that has English as its native language...then it's all good..Imagine English speaking people speaking Nippongo, tagalog or cantonese, they'd sound pretty alien too..Just my 2 cents..Pass the beer!!!
 
Some people are just easily irritated.


Some like they're coffee black, others like there coffee with sugar. And some people drink coffee while their eating breakfast.
