Although I am sometimes guitly of what you just mentioned, I can say that I agree with you totally. There is no excuse to mangle the english language, unless it's not your native language.
Periods and commas are not that hard to use, and they are right there on the keyboard!!

My pet peve is when people use "there, their, and they're" wrong. Drives me nuts!

I love how things are going great in your lives that you can complain and be irritated by spelling errors. Bravo.

Spelling errors arent that big of a deal. Some missed punctuation isnt either.
Its when I have to read something 3 or 4 times that really bothers me. The "there their and they're" is just something that pops out....pet peve.

If a person's post is full of misspelled words, exhibits faulty grammar, or lacks punctuation, I subconsciously discount the validity of the information they are trying to offer. I can't help it--first impressions do matter!
