I've been carving dinosaur replicas for a number of years. Mostly skulls with a couple of "flesh-on" pieces mixed in. I decided to try carving a poly. Here's the result. It's about 6" long and carved out of mammoth ivory I found 15 years ago in WA state.

I found a bunch of fragmented ivory near Clallam Bay on the Strait of Juan De Fuca.

Sharpie marker. I might cab out a pair of rainbow obsidian pupils so as to get the same "flash" as is seen in the real fish.

hmmm. Prehistoric mammoth ivory sculpture, painfully and diligently detailed by a master craftsman, two years in the making, and you used sharpie for the eyes?!? I think you had better bust out that obsidian LOL
