i just lost my lil' feeder goldfish named bob and i was thinking bout breeding something in that tank i dont want livebearers(ive already breed all of them)i wanted an egg layer thats not to hard to breed and raise and the lfs would take once they r bout like 1 inch any ideas?

Yes in under right conditions but I dont know about your present tankmates in that tank. Dont you need to worry about your baby sunfish and the fish you have right now?

Avoid convicts and jewel cichlids as most lfs wont take the fry into.

Rosy Red minnows are easy to breed, just add the flower pots and water to the tank. But the negative is that most egglaying fry are far smaller and need special foods. Most fry will get eaten by their own parents. You need to get a growout tank for these fry, but im sure that you need to ask your mom first to get another tank.

neons or cardinals.
They are not easiest egglayers to breed, its actually much hassle for that. Special waters, marbles. conditioning them, live foods etc.. i would throw neons and cardinals idea out.

I would just stick with livebearers. mainly platies as they have different colors. Try tiger, blue, plumtail and bumblebee platies out as they are nice looking that your LFS would take these fry into.
