No. Youd be pushing it keeping a pair of adult HRP in a 20g Long. Possibly a few tetras or mollies or otto cats, a small growing pleco or something along those lines, but thats about it. I personally wouldnt try any more cichlids in that small of a tank.

Are you kidding? HRPs don't get any bigger then 4'' max on a male. They are dwarf cichlids. A pair of HRP would be a great choice other then rams and apistos. Other good South American choices would be keyhole, and laetacara curvicepts.

cockatoos are badass, pretty much any dwarf would work... throw in a couple tetras/ barbs

Thanks I didn't know google even existed.

No problem, neither do 90% of the members on here. Just take a look at the first page of threads in the CA/SA forum. Most all could be answered by a 30 second google search.

Huh?...

Im the 1st person that recommended HRPs so I know how big they get..and a pair is MAX amount of cichlid for a 20g long. Tetras, mollies sure, but more cichlids, NO.

Thread goes from top to bottom. Go to top, read first post, then read down. It will explain itself.

N. Nematopus... very nice fish to get your feet wet with, perfectly fine for a 20L. Just lots of rock work.... good luck with whatever you end up with.

Ok I posted for advice. Most everyone else has provided it you have just tried to argue and cluttered up my thread with bickering about the sizes of fish.If you are so sharp at reading then you would have noticed I asked if there was anything else I could keep with HRP's I didn't ask what other cichlids I could keep with them.If you have something constructive to post then post it otherwise climb back on your soapbox and go to another thread.
