I personally ate off the tree guava, starfruit, and lychee when I lived in Hawaii.

Lychee is freaking amazing. Fresh starfruit is as well.

Growing Passion Fruit in the garden this year
And Lychees, we have a nice sapling and hope it will bear fruits in a few years.
Paw Paw is nice
Sharon Fruit is Sooooo Sweet like a Very sweet Red Carrot.
Gauva's and Vanilla Icecream - Like Heaven.
Alfonso Honey Mangos - Sweet sweet sugar.
I need to add Chicoo's and Bhears Like Gooseberries from India.

I have eaten Sweet tamarind and it gave me the worst IBS attack in 10 years, kept in bed for 3 days. Never again will i go near that fruit. Tastes Damn Nice though. My Friends call it the South Par Mr.Hanky Fruit.

Fresh Sugar cane from the Fields cut and skinned with your own hands is the best. Sit in a group of friends in the field and eat away.
then make the Pulp into Moonshine.

only one i ever had was passion fruit.

Guanabana = a taste of heaven

FWIW, guanabana juiced and combined with well chilled vodka is an absolutely stunning drink. I've tried most of those fruits and the reaction is mixed. There is no doubt that many suffer greatly in transport, and their taste is affected. I've tried several as juices and those were markedly better. The advantage of these fruits juiced? Almost all make excellent cutters, and a few make pretty good liqueurs.

i've been lucky enough to taste all these fruits at one time or another. I grew up in the northern part of the Philippines and ate various types of fruits with names that I dont even remember. My family was agricultural and lived up near the mts and surrounding rice terraces. "sapodilla" or "chico" was one of my favorites.
If I may add to the list..
-"Lomboy" aka "Duhat" - these are bangin.
