I've had jack fruit, but I'm not a fan. Pineapple is probably my favorite fruit and I think jack fruit taste like bad pineapple (or "mild" pineapple as that description says). It is definitely the biggest fruit on a tree I have ever seen. There was a jack fruit tree on a work site I worked on in Jamaica and I was afraid to stay under it very long. The smallest ones were like spiked footballs and I swear the biggest were like the size of a small child
They also had some fruit they called Jamaican apples. I don't know what they were, but they looked somewhat like small apples, but a little taller and skinnier, tasted just like apples, but had no core like apples do. They came from HUGE trees. A young boy climbed up literally over 50 feet in the air and threw them down to us.

i have to try some of these... some i have already..love all fruit so far... not one did i not like...this is a great fruit info thread...
im happy to say that tried rambutan, jack fruit, lychee,mangosteen, guava, durian(50/50 chance that youll hate it or love it), Langsat(lanzones where im from), Sugar Apple(atis where im from), Soursop, Lamut(chico where im from) and Sweet tamarind.
you guys should also try aratilis, duhat and caimito because im sure that youll enjoy them
