The most important aspect of Congress is its ability to develop, make, and monitor laws. With the size and complexity of our society, many new laws are created weekly and even daily.
My priority as your advocate in Washington D.C. is to work for legislation, which will benefit you, your family, and the people of Colorado. Writing amendments to bills and winning support for them is another way I work on solving problems for Coloradans and the nation.

It's pretty unfortunate that Barack Obama has less of a chance of winning because of his name and because he's a first generation African American.
