thanks man! can you copy/paste the pics youre referring to? i dont know the collection site, but these big orinos have traded hands many times. they are several years old and are some of the ones originally imported, from what ive been told...

Siiick, I seeyou got the loaches out of the 405.

They are looking different now, and where were those monos from? My peru mono looks so different. How big are the rio negros now?

BTW, what is that fish in the bottom right corner of the first picture?

yeah man i had too, those loaches were almost becoming feeders in the 400g! it was a mess. had to drain half the tank, take out all the driftwood and climb in with a big ass net!!!!!!!!!

id say the rio negros are about 6.5"+ now. i got the peru monos from another member here, he got them from snookn originally...

ok check this out...what do you guys think. i have this orino, he's about 14-15". he's missing an eye but he has the most amazing color out of all the others. he is always an emerald green color with royal blue dorsal fin and intense cheek markings. ive noticed that he has a shorter snout too compared to the others.

do you guys see a resemblance?

oh and that fish is a blue botia loach. have two of them in there

The peru monos look so different, like they have some ocell in them:confused:
look at my peru mono in my thread to compare them. They are still really awesome though. I love the deep red eyes, and that makes me think ocell.:)

I cant imagine getting into my tank to capture my fish, hahahaha:D
