Pretty sure there's no bag limit on any cichlids other than pbass

you are correct but, you cannot have live possession of wild caught exotics..
Pbass limit is 2 per person and they cannot be transported live.. Now could you make some crap up that they are yours or you bought them? probably but, you better not have a fishing pole near by

By exotics is it just tilapia? I didnt think they cared how many midas,jags, clown knives, acaras or severums and stuff like that you take out. Cause if so holy crap so many people are in trouble!

you can keep as many as you like (except Pbass cause the FWC put them there) you just can't transport or possess them alive.. It is illegal cause the state is worried about the problem getting worse and them getting introduced in other locations.. remember florida has many spring and rivers that stay above 72 degrees all year and could support many of these exotics to the detriment of the natural ecosystem..

There's always good fishing down there....just all saltwater fish...
