Sorry for my ignorance but what is the sp in photo #1.
Would it be too much to ask to include genus and species so we can dive into research on species we may have overlooked or never seen so well represented?

I believe they are filament barbs

They are indeed filamented barbs. Both males. Not mine buy have had them. They get big, I've seen females at about 9". It take a long time. I had 5 2m 3f spawned alot.
