2023: How old will your oldest fish be?

I have cardinal tetras that are 4 years old, a couple of plecos that are also 4 years old, a 2 or 3 year old shrimp, I’ve sold and swept a lot of fish out until the last couple of years. I’m pretty settled on my fish I currently own, so it’s just a matter of them again now lol

Nice. My guy is pushing 7 years now since I got him as an adult.

Thats awesome. I am proud as with 5 moves in 5 years, I have lost a lot expensive and rare fish along the way. Here's to many more years with our fish!

Definitely depends on where you live, but overall yeah a relatively common fish, but there is the Southern spotted and Northern, very hard to tell difference and I presume I have the one that isn't near extinct in the wild.

Doesn’t take away from how cool they are, hardy, can take temp swings, and micro predators for sure with beautiful coloring.

this was my last group. I have probably kept and spawned more species of sleepers than anyone. These are my all time favorite family of fish.

My oldest fish is a koi who is currently 33. Bought by me for a friend in 1989, I inherited it in 2012 when my friend passed away.
