well my wife didnt take care of her 20g. she had 5 congo tetras and they all died. she doesnt want to try again.....good for me. that means i have a small tank to have some fun with. my wife did a great job with the aquascaping. and i want to keep it a "pretty" tank.

are there )v(onsters that will fit? convicts? or any single that is slow growing? i just cant think of anything.

If it is a planted tank, I would go with tetras. Otherwise, it is kind of dependent on what you like. I personally would go with a pleco tank.

You could always do a brackish community with small puffers with a few rocks and brown sand that would look great

im not going to change the aquascaping. it only has one group of plants the rest is fake. i want Monster!

i cant really think of anything too monster for a 20 gallon.. if you want to grow something outi would get a bichir of some sort with a few communtiy fish otherwise i can just suggest a small community aquarium again like guppies, mollies, clown loaches etc.

convicts to bigg? what about a lone convict?

I don't think "monster" and "20 gallon" really go together...
I would say it's the bare minimum for a pair of cons or a pair of firemouths, or a pair of jewels. Or you could go with a solitary puffer like a congo or arrowhead.

Or, like stated above, just use it as a growout tank or fry tank.

Firemouths.....maybe one. my LFS has young ones. Jewels maybe they dont get over like 4". i just want something with attitude.

just get a single convict, thats about as monster as i can think:confused:... or you could go with some nice lookin semi agressive dwarf pike:grinyes:

i dont think i could get pikes in Hawaii.
