20g....uhmmmm

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
How about bolivian rams or apistogrammas as the main fish, dwarf flame or honey gouramis would also work for pretty, if you want a larger predator try a Nandus nandus

i used my 20 as a grow out tank

Go with some Dwarf Cichlids, like Gold, Bolivan, or Blue Rams. You could do quite a few in a 20g, and throw some cardinal or neon tetras in there. I agree with everyone else that monster and 20g just dont match-up. You could get a few Golden Wonder Killis. They are kinda like a mini arowana. There are lots of options out there, and plus if you like the aquascaping your wife did if you get a "Monster" for the tank that aquascaping will more than likely suffer and be moved around to the fish(s) likes.

what are HRP? pics?

Hondouran Red Point - very similar to a convict but with slightly different coloration (more blue).
Here's a pic:

You could have a black rhom for a while in there. Get em at about an inch and you should be able to keep em for like 2-3 years in there!!! Just thought I'd throw it out there!

if you overpower the filtration a little (like buy one o5f the 30-50g penguins instead od the 10-20g) you can definitely keep a male and female convict. They will reproduce, but you can always think of things to do with the fry. I kept a mated pair in a 20 g with their 30-40 young until the young were about half the adult's size. properly aquascaped this could actually work for a BRIEF period. but two should be fine.

get an leaf fish GULP
