210 gallon

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
According to those dimensions thats a 265 gallon tank not a 220 which is an even better deal.

did you use inches???
i just double checked, and it said 218 ??
If your right, i'm probly gonna run around like a chicken with my head cut off ;) haha

Yeah i just told the guy i would have the money ready when he gets back from VACA...the hardest part now is finding a spot to put it..and find the people to help me move it...as well as a vehicle to move it in :( haha

Hahaha no you are correct i just read it wrong. i thought it was 96 inches which would bring it to 265 gallon. The dimensions are just threw me off a little because i have a 220 which is 72"x24"x29

ahhh gotcha, yeah i was excited when i seen this, ultimately i wanted an Aro...which with this long tank will have enough room to swim :)
but with a 7 foot tank, my ranger is only a 6 foot bed...so i might need a trailer :(...idk i have two weeks to figure out transport ideas

If you have a friend with a truck that has an 8 ft bed that would be perfect. I transported my tank about 20 miles in the back of my fathers truck with no problems i didn't even have to strap it down because its so damn heavy. with the tailgate folded down it fit perfectly. As far as a trailer goes i would resort to that as a last option because of the lack of suspension on a trailer opposed to a truck and lets face it your shipping glass.

i hope i can find one like that hahah....because i have a 6 foot bed in the ranger....my uncle has an f350...so maybe that will be big enough...but if not i think its the trailer or bust :( as bad as that is gonna suck

if your 21 or have someone thats 21 thats helping you, you can rent a truck at home depot for 19$ for 75 min... so thats always another option.. (it just sucks for the spending the more $$)

but i'll post pics in a bit when i get back home so you can see.

You can see the center support piece from this one, it was just a simple hood i threw together because I needed to fix the same problem. its on a 55gal here so I'd say get like a 2x2 and use that for your center, just make sure you use strong enough wood across the lip of the tank. In my case I used white pine and stained it.
