Gah this is the hardest part of setting up a tank

the oscars would create as much bioload as all the fish in that other post combined, honestly since you have a 55 growout why not leave the firemouth con in there and leave yourself plenty of room to go after the clown loaches and pictus like you want?

I plan on taking my 55 and my 30 down, minimizing my tanks..although I might toss them into my "mom's" tank (her fish at her house but I do all the work on it..)

I think im gonna go with the alternate (not oscars)

SD's are plain looking to me, I'd like something with some more color (and I dont wanna spend a buttload on a school of widebars or hooks)

Haha, thanks. I'm getting in on wednesday and will be putting in some already established media from my current tanks. Hope to have it up and running in about 2 weeks (just gotta get a pump for the sump). I'll be posting pics and everything so keep up

I think I want another spiny eel. I've heard that fires are aggressive towards other fire eels, but what about one of a different species--a tire track?
