well...maybe it is due to extra-thick glass, custom-made in Transylvania....I was going to house a cross of Discus x Pirahna..:D

seriously....180 empty tank= 400+ lbs...

I've reproduced it here, with permission of Roger Ritzow, co-owner
of All-Glass Aquariums. Also, thanks to Sharon at All Glass
Aquariums for her help.

Finally, I'm just a happy customer, and I have no commercial
interest in seeing this material distributed.

Cool chart! That will help a lot of people on weight.
I know the tanks are pretty heavy, I helped JDman move his into his house. 215lbs each isn't THAT bad

I put a tape to it and it's 12' long x 6' wide x 4' deep.

I want to swim in it.

215 lbs? each? OMG...what are you?...Arnold Schwannegger??:nilly:

Once I had a girlfriend, heavily-set, but adorable...she was close to 200lbs and I could barely lift her....hummm maybe I should've tried a dolly....

LOL.... I'm good for around 250pounds.

The truck and trailer are rented.... the trailer tilts!

Its not like we are curling it. Hahaha. 250 lbs squat isn't that bad. You can bet your ### I'll be wearing some back support though.

Nice! I was gonna say that would help a lot. Is it a flat bed car hualer? If so it probably has a winch we can somehow rig to pull the tank up on it... granted we get some wheels under there.
