Can you get hold of rhamdia catfish? Biotope correct and might add some variety .
I've been wanting rhamdia since I've started keeping Centrals. Have yet to ever see them available. I don't believe they are a commonly imported species unfortunately.

Can you get hold of Belonesox belizanus.
Another one that I've never seen available, at least locally. I've also heard they require live food? Keep the suggestions coming though!

Snapped a few pics this evening before feeding. Any white dots throughout the pics are just bubbles as I have quite a strong one directional flow in this tank in order to mimic a more riverine environment.

Thanks Stan. Cell phone cameras are pretty amazing these days!

Stunning. Do you get much squabbling between the robertsoni.
Dan, the robertsoni squabble similar to Thorichthys. They will gill flare and do the "tail flapping" but that's about it. The pair however can be pretty territorial and have claimed the right third of the tank. Of course, no eggs have been laid. I don't know what I am doing wrong. I'd really like to see some successful spawns come out of this tank. There really is no reason for either the pearsei or the robertsoni not to at this point as the tank is very lightly stocked with plenty of viable spots.

Smashing photos.
What were your settings?
Thanks. I was just using the "pro" or manual mode on my Android phone. I had the ISO at 800 and the shutter speed at 1/60 I believe. I would have liked to use a faster shutter speed but the pics were too dark. It can be hard to take good pics in my tank as the lighting is so inconsistent with dark and bright spots.

High standard tank, fish and photos. Thanks for sharing.
I really like the robertsoni , not something we can get easily herebut would consider getting them if they were around thanks to this thread.
