Nice tank! Those Oscars are going to make it stunning once they get some size on them.
I can't wait! It's hard not to over feed them

your oscars have the most color on them ive ever seen for that size!!!! you must have a really good lfs:nilly:
Thanks, I spent a lot of time going to alot of stores being very picky about the ones I bought, in every case I didn't pick the biggest one. I was looking for the ones that looked the healthliest and most colorful. The wild caught I got online and love him.

what did you use to make the background?? Tank is my dream!!

What type of background?
It's an Aqua-Terra Rainforst. Check out the "Not Just Fish" forum under vendors.

Thanks for the compliments :)

I have been looking hard at the Aqua Terra backgrounds, especially the amazon one you have. How deep is it?. If your tank is 24" wide, how much of that space does it take up?

Do you have step by step photos of your progress on the built-in tank? Very nice......

It eats up about 4" at the widest spot. That sucks, but it's the price you have to pay for a 3-D background.

Not really but I'll put up what I have. I built the wall to the right of the aquarium at the same time. That was actually the project that lead into this one. There's also a few grainy pic's of the Lemon O from last month. The Platinum hides most of the time so I don't have any pic's of him.

That is so neat! Just wish my husband and I had the space (we live in an apartment) and the $$$ to do that! We just have 2 Oscars right now in a 65G but everytime we go to the lfs, it's hard not to get one of the adorable tiny guys. Such stunning colors on all of them especially the tiger.

Awesome!

I assume silk with plastic stems.
Can you purchase these at a craft store?
How do you hang them from the top?

Thanks!
