I found some driftwood I like so I re-did the tank at little. I also added a school of 6 silver dollars and a Lemon Oscar. The Lemon I had is becoming an albino tiger every day. The new one is a lemon.
Wow I must have missed this when you first posted it, awesome setup. Please keep us updated as they grow. I like the hanging plant idea, hopefully all the oscars like it and don't try to tear it up as they grow...I think they're likely to tolerate the hanging plants more than they would rooted plants.
One of them looks like a lutino, I used to have one, they're nice.
As I said before - great setup, but I have 1 suggestion, you could try and get some of those small rocks onto that big driftwood, that way it would be more stable and look better, in my opinion. Also few people already said, that size of tank isn't the best for 5 oscars, but now you got some more fish, I guess it would be good for a while, but not for long.
wow-it-esploded-so you are saying that 250 gallons is minimum-oh no he is lacking 30 gallons! 150% water changes-never heard of that-there scores of people on this site alone that have a larger stock in tanks that size-check out Terd's tanks he has more fish than that and his fish are thriving-are you sure your not just hating?
