What are you using for the mechanical and bio-media?

So i have everything except the filter. What would be the best set up ?
From bottom to top :
Mech
10 ppi foam
20 ppi foam
Bio
30 ppi foam.

Was thinking that would be best and would stop any degrading bio media particles from getting into the impeller

Thoughts ?

If it was mine I would put the 30 ppi before the bio media.The filter comes with a mesh bag to keep the bio media,so you shouldn't have to worry about broken pieces.You want the bio to get the cleanest water possible to prevent clogging.But either way your probably fine.

The o ring feels hollow ?

The lid o-ring does feel spongy or hollow and this is normal. I've never had one break so I don't know what it looks like inside.

Congrats on getting the new filter, it's almost the same as opening a gift or present!
