Awesome sized dovii. biggest i could find around my area was 6" when i was looking at the time lol. i'll just have to have some patience and grow mine to that size haha. sorry to see the loss of the female. how thick was the glass? subscribed keen to see that monster tank develop :popcorn:
 
I hate days like that! At least you have a fish room and you’re not repairing water damage in the house. Eventually all tanks leak/break. At least all the tanks I own LOL
 
lol thanks guys, so far both the 6x2x2 from the one dealer have gone on me which makes me think he is not the best tank builder :D

glass was 12mm. weird part is my mangrove jack who was bigger never broke the glass with a ram or 2 which makes me believe this dovii really rammed it over and over again.

Yup thank god this did not occur inside the house, id lose something a bit lower if it did :\

hey do you guys think its safe to put a pallet trolley jack under the metal stands with tanks on (empty) and jack them up to move them outside? would make life so much easier!

They are a solid fish but i suppose it could be a few things. who knows

never done it before but i cant see why not. im more of a, get 8 people and move a tank kind of bloke lol

hehehe, I am more worried moving 6 tanks all close to 200G then having to move a 500kg tank at 6pm once done have to put all 6 tanks back in pump the water from the pool back into the tanks (my pools acting as a water drum lol!) put the sw fish in people might get a bit tried! I know I can last but yeah.

Thanks selki, lucky at times so much work. I was saying today I will be amazed if my back lasts to 25.
 
Sounds exhausting just reading that haha. yeah my mates arent keen on moving more tanks haha. any plans on stocking the pool one day? it is mfk after all. im 23 and my back went years and years ago thanks to sport and work. where does 1 obtain a pallet jack from? they sound real handy. would come handy in the future

tell me about it, I was like hey guys beer and pizza at mine this sat. "why, what tanks do you need moved this time?" lol ah well at least they get a work out!

The pool is housing my turtles right now. dovii in the turtle tank. Honestly I have plans of building a new pool out side in my back yard, But too many ladies that live will me will kill me if i take there summer job away lol. Its huge man my 550G tank filled nothing of it looks like a puddle when it rains!

from work :) you can buy one but they wont be cheap the ones we use at work can lift 1 ton so a 6x2x2 with water :| ahhh I cant sleep I want to get out there and move all the tanks but I need a wing man lol.
