The stand is perfectly level.....but the tank has a bow to it. Is this normal for an acrylic tank? Do I need to unlevel the stand to conform it to the tank? It is about 1/8th of an inch at it's highest point, not 1/4 inch as the pic says.

I had a 90 tall that did that. I never had any problem with it. Acrylic flexes, so you'll be allright.

Like I said before, I eneded up getting some novus polish since I was not 100% happy with some light scratches I could still see. I ended up getting #1 and #2. The first thing is never assume anything could be better than the novus...hands down this stuff was awsome. I never expected the results I ended up with. It looks brand new now, hardly any scratches. It was cheaper than the other stuff I used too. The tank is now in my basement awaiting the stand build to be completed.

Looking good so far.

novus is AMAZING stuff

theres a good chance the the stand the tank use to be on was not that great and was sagging in the middle.. youe "should" be ok putting it back on a a level stand....

id fill it in the garage and let it sit for a few weeks and then move it into the house.. just to be safe...
