240 Gal project with pics

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I let the tank cycle for about a week, I went with some old filter media, and BB in a bottle. Everything seems to be holding great and began doing some basic aquascaping, and adding my fish.
Pics will follow after they settle down from being put into there new home.

I went through this whole thread. VERY NICE TANK!!!!

This makes me want to completely redo my tank. How do you use the Novus? Do you wet sand with a high grit and then buff with Novus? I have some Novus 1 and 2 from a long time ago that I would like to try on my tank.

Your setup is looking very nice. Are you planning on skinning the stand or leaving it as is?

As promised some pics of the the almost finished project, still left is lighting, canopy, and skinning the stand......maybe some diffrent aquascaping.
Right now I have the tank set into 3 diffrent areas as you can see. Rocks, open water, and wood.
The current stock list is one 12" LMB and a common pleco.
He doesn't like sunfish or crappie as tank mates as I found out, he gets along with the pleco though :screwy:. He seems to like his new home

So cool! Good job with the wood I really like it. I will likely have a tank just like that if they pass HR699 Natives only :( He might get along with a bullhead catfish you tried that?
