Probably not going to do tile, but sand sounds cool. What color sand do you guys use? brown, white? Ive never seen dark sand sold in stores but can get plenty white sand. The pics i have right now are of the plywood tank only, not sealed or glass installed, but ill just put those up. Also Bosa I am on oahu.

Check out Aquascapes in Aiea, I bought my sand from them, they have a double 125 set up that has sand in it, if you want to see one already set up. They also have black sand, but it's more expensive, I ended up buying 10 10lb bags, $9 each...yup it did some damage to the wallet, but the tank looks great.

I'd like to see pics of a tank with tile I've never seen that.

Oh i get one Oscar too if you like? The Oscar eats anything, the clown knife eats feeders, I tried feeding it pellets, but the oscar eats it before the CK. The pics is in my profile, let me know if you like um. I was trying to sell them but taking too long, people flake out.

Thanks, but my one oscars enough and if i were to get a clownkife i would get um small and try to get him on pellets.

One of the reasons i was alright with bare bottom is that the tanks a plywood tank and would atleast be a brown bottom and not bright glass.

Heres a pic of the tank, the 2 bottom tanks are a 55 and a 30. The tanks an 8-2-2. Ive got all the stuff to seal the inside of the tank and will hopefully do it soon. During All the spare time my dad has hes been working on our floors in the house. After that just put the glass in and where done.

Oh yeah and the pacu you see in the tank is now in the pond, hes around 17 in.

Im all about the bare bottom, easier to clean, makes the tank brighter, certain fish look better in that kinda light, and if your fish are easily sickened theres no gravel to worry about cleansing!
