Pics are there.

2xlarge bottles of Seachem Matrix --- This will be added to the exiting bioballs and ceramic bio-noodles from the two canister filters I have

Spongy (Pre)filter
Non-carbon based fiterpad
Polishing Material

150 pounds of black sand, 30 pounds of which is actually freshwater-live sand.

1800GPH return pump. Box says at a distance of 5# it is rated at 1100GPH which should be a nice turnover.

Today's update:

The glass company is processing the order for the acrylic today. It's a local company and delivery has been promised by wed morning at the latest.

Builder says the stand will be finished at the latest by the time the acrylic is delivered, so he can build the tank straight away...

I am being promised a functional (testing mode) tank + sump by the end of the week. Plumbed, working, the whole 9.

More work was finally done today

The stand's base was finalized. The stand no longer moves

The padding for the tank itself is indoor/outdoor carpeting. It is soft and will reduce scratches on the bottom of the tank.

The stainless steel facade for the doors came in today. He is making the doors now.

The stand has the following left now:
Finish and install doors
Cut the carpeting to tank size
Install carpeting
Install edged stainless steel facade on the top of the stand to trace the border of the carpet.

OK, so, the acrylic shipment is scheduled to arrive tomorrow! Excited here. 295 pounds of acrylic.

My question now is, how long after the tank and filter are built should I:
A) wait to fill it with water (I think I read somewhere 1-2 days)
B) how long should I leave it filled with water to make sure it doesn't leak?

Cheers,

J
