Ok so another update! I finished dry fitting the overflow so I just have to cement that, I finished painting the outside, and I bought the sand and krylon fusion today. I plan on painting today and start cleaning the sand today

It's a black with a texture finish. I just finished the first coat and ill take a picture when the second coat is on and it's back on the stand. The paint is black but has a little sparkle to it also. It's really cool. If you look up krylon fusion texture you could find itt

Holy smokes that's more then I thought.... But Atleast it a DIY can cater to your EXACT needs and wants. 170$ for a 4' pane of glass is it 1/2"? That's like a 150 gallon tank.

No I was 3/8" flame polished, and that was the cheapest around. Others were around $200
